Nomi Ruiz
Just checked out photos of the show Peaches | Jessica 6 | Amanda Blank (Sat.Nov 14 @ Terminal 5) at Brooklyn Vegan. Great photos as usual and lots of them. I’m sad to say, that I haven’t kept up with Nomi, and so I just realized Deep Red changed names to Jessica 6. Honestly, in the photos from Terminal 5, Nomi caught my attention and I didn’t recognize her, so I investigated and found Jessica 6 on myspace. I started listening and my first thought was – “Oh, I have to do a post on her and Nomi combined.” Truly. I didn’t realize ’till I started reading more about J6.
Anyway, now I want to post all my backlog of posts from elsewhere on all these folks: Nomi, Hurcules & Love Affair, and of course Antony & The Johnsons. So bear with me if you see some longer posts that seem bibliographic – I just want them all here and I made a category for them: antony.nomi.jessica 6
